What is Pilates?
Pilates is a system of over 500 low-impact exercises that conditions the entire body and engages the mind and spirit. These exercises were developed to strengthen deep core muscles, increase postural alignment, build endurance, increase flexibility and improve muscle balance.
This system of exercises was developed by the German health enthusiast Joseph Pilates almost 100 years ago during WWI.
